ASSEMBLIES

There are many assemblies held throughout the school year. They are:

Weekly Wednesday Assemblies
are held in the quadrangle and usually last for 10 minutes or so in length.
Information about Wednesday sport is provided plus general school news.
Students are to stand in their specified year areas.

Year Assemblies
are usually convened by the Year Adviser to present Merit Certificates,
Privilege Cards or to provide information that is only pertinent to a
specific year group. Students often present items of interest including
musical and drama items or speeches.
·
Formal Assemblies
are held twice per term in the MPC. Students sit in their Roll Call
groups. These assemblies are run by Student Leaders with the focus on
acknowledgment and appreciation of student
achievement.
·
Formal Farewell and Presentation Assemblies
are held for Year 12 (during Term 3) and Year 10 (during Term 4)Parents and family of students are invited to attend.
·
Year Presentation Assembly
held late Term 4. This assembly is used to recognise and congratulate
top academic students in each year plus sporting awards. End of
year reports are also issued to students. Parents and
family of students who receive awards are invited to attend.
·
Annual Presentation Assembly
is held at the beginning of Term 1 the following year.
Parents and family of students are invited to attend.
